Professionally, this will be my 19th year in Hillsboro.  I began my career teaching 6th grade, preparing them for the demands of middle school.  Seven years ago, I decided to make the move to Evergreen.

Personally, I have three children.  The oldest graduated from Glencoe in 2018, my middle is a senior at Glencoe, and my youngest is here at Evergreen as a 7th grader.  I am excited to get to know this class of students, knowing that in 6 short years, I will be at your graduation from Glencoe.

Academically, I grew up in Hillsboro, attending Groner, JB Thomas, and Hilhi.  I earned a BA in History from Western Oregon University, and an MAT from Pacific University. In addition to my degrees, I have Received endorsements in Reading, ESOL, and an Administrative License from University of Portland.

And finally, Philosophically, I just want to have fun learning about the past, so we can understand the present, to prepare for the future.  I am excited to dive into this year and make as many memories as we can.
